Qualifications

• 3+ years pipe welding in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience welding pipe in multiple positions.
• Strong pipe fit-up capabilities and joint preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, piping drawings, weld symbols, and specs.
• Independent worker with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and safe welding practices.

Responsibilities

• Fit, prepare, tack, and weld pipe per drawings, specs, and codes.
• Weld in multiple positions (1G–6GR) as required.
• Weld with GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG).
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Perform advanced pipe fit-up including alignment, beveling, and joint prep.
• Read and interpret welding drawings and weld symbols.
• Ensure weld quality and meet specifications.
• Operate welding equipment safely.
