Job summary

CVS Health, through Omnicare, is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door pharmacy team in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will support medication orders, ensure compliance, and work across multiple workstations to package, stage, and dispense medications for long-term care facilities.

The role requires an active pharmacy technician certification/licensure, 1+ year of experience, and may include preferred certifications.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow for assigned areas that prepare and process medications
• Rotate and work in various pharmacy workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging)
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure timely deliveries
• Perform physical inventories of medication
