Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; ACPHT, EXCPT, and RPT license or eligibility.
• One year of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medication distribution systems and automated dispensing cabinets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Trains and leads other technicians to manage daily workflow.
• Able to perform all activities in the pharmacy technician scope of practice.
• Competent to perform all duties of Technician I and Technician II.
• Independently executes and completes pharmacy projects or reports under leadership.
• Demonstrates proficiency in specialty areas as required (neonates, oncology, purchasing, automation, auditing, reimbursement, TPN, inventory).
• Assists with process improvement, continuous quality and safety initiatives and outcomes.
