Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interprets and prepares medication orders by filling provider orders, medication kits/trays, automated dispensing cabinets, and floor stock requisitions.
• Demonstrates proficiency with dispensing cabinets, inventory management technology, label printers, unit dose packing machines, IV room automation, and related software.
• Contributes to the financial and operational well-being of the institution through inventory systems management.
• Provides customer service at the pharmacy window and over the phone, ensuring timely, accurate service.
• Assists pharmacists with prior authorizations and appeals; educates patients and caregivers about specialty services.
