Works under supervision of Pharmacy Technician Coordinator, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor or Pharmacy Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician and 2 years in area of advanced pharmacy technician concentration.
  • Licenses and Certifications: (TSBP) Registered Pharmacy Technician, (PHARM INT) Pharmacy Intern, Sterile Compounding (IV) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) course.

Preferred

  • National certification as a Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (PTCB) or equivalent.

JOB DUTIES

  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Coordinate workflow and provide leadership in assigned areas.
  • Assist with inventory management, sterile and hazardous compounding, and investigational drug services.
  • Participate in teaching, training, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
