Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Advanced Patient Care Technician to support RN-guided, patient-centered care. You will perform advanced clinical tasks, observe changes, and assist with ADLs and lab collection in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting with daily activities, phlebotomy, telemetry, and wound care, while maintaining smooth clerical support. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certifications in Cardiac Monitoring Technician, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, or Phlebotomy Technician.

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.

• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds
• Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly
• Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CMT-BC) Cardiac Monitoring Technician - Board Certified, or (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant, or (CPT) Certified Phlebotomy Technician, or (PHLEB) Phlebotomy Technician

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
