Job summary

Dauch is seeking an Advanced Operator for Spline/Grove/Drill on the 3rd shift at our Newton, NC facility. You will set up and run machines in the Machine Centers area and coordinate manufacturing activities to support continuous production.

You will create and install CNC programs, participate in runoffs, lead autonomous maintenance efforts, and drive CI improvements. Strong focus on quality processes and problem solving is required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in machine technology/operations and routine maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer/supplier activities (containment).
• Setup (2) technologies within established time study.
• Create and install CNC programs.
• Coordinate setup activities utilizing the department schedule.
• Participate in machine runoffs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the department (maintenance open work orders).
• Develop plans and drive improvements to achieve budget targets (CIMS).
• Participate in budgeting process.
• Lead and participate CI process / plan and implement corrective actions.
• Lead cell on quality process assurance.
• Identify repetitive failures and implement corrective actions based on failure analyses.
