Job summary

The Center for Pain Relief in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide general care across all ages. The NP will conduct tests, record histories, offer treatments, and prescribe medications within scope while supporting physicians and patient education.

Requirements include MSN with ARNP specialization, active APRN license, BLS, and 1–2 years NP experience; EHR experience preferred and pain management background is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN to NP transition requires MSN with ARNP specialization.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse is required.
• BLS certification on hire and maintained.
• One to two years of NP experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Pain management/interventional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct tests and record medical histories.
• Provide treatments and prescribe medications within scope.
• Assist physicians and support patient education and awareness.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS upon hire and maintain current
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic health record.
• Pain management and/or interventional experience preferred
