Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for The Center for Pain Relief in Harlingen, TX. This full-time position involves delivering general patient care across ages, collaborating with physicians, performing tests, recording histories and prescribing medications within scope of practice.

Requirements include MSN/ARNP, active APN license in Texas, BLS, 1–2 years NP experience, and EHR proficiency. Pain management/interventional experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN with ARNP specialization required.
• Current state license as Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS certification required and current.
• 1–2 years NP experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health record preferred.
• Pain management or interventional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages.
• Perform tests and record medical histories.
• Provide treatments and prescribe medications within scope.
• Assist physicians and educate patients on health options.

Location: The Center for Pain Relief - 1713 Treasure Hills Blvd Ste 2D Harlingen, TX 78550

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP

2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse

3. BLS upon hire and maintain current

4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.

5. Previous experience with electronic health record.

6. Pain management and/or interventional experience preferred
