Job summary

Mercy in Fort Smith, AR is seeking an Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate imaging equipment and software, primarily nuclear medicine imaging, to aid in diagnosis and treatment while prioritizing patient safety.

Education: graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with completed clinical hours; Experience: 1 year of relevant work; Licensure: state licensure may be required; Certification: NMTCB or ARRT (N); BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with required clinical hours completed.
• Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: NMTCB or ARRT (N); Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Operate advanced nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software.
• Maintain ALARA radiation safety and high-quality imaging standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, accurate procedures.
