Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver specialized respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients. The role requires coordination with physicians, patient assessment, and hands-on support for life-sustaining treatments.

The ideal candidate has NBRC credentials (CRT or RRT), NV licensure, and NICU/PICU experience, with BLS/PALS/NRP certifications. Position includes teaching opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from high school and successful completion of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Credentialed NBRC as CRT or RRT with NICU/PICU experience.
• Current NV licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner; BLS/PALS/NRP certifications accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy modalities per protocol and physician orders.
• Assess, administer, and evaluate respiratory care treatments for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Coordinate with physicians on treatment plans and assist with intubations and patient transport when needed.
