Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist registered in Texas.
• 8 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in NICU or pediatric neurodevelopment preferred.
• Respiratory fit testing required by employer.
• Extensive board certifications in pediatric and neurological rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and reassessments.
• Create individualized care plans based on evaluations.
• Set measurable long- and short-term goals.
• Manage clinic schedule to meet productivity targets.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust as needed.
• Recommend adaptive equipment or discontinuation of therapy when appropriate.
• Coordinate with clinic team to assess clinical support needs.
• Obtain patient authorization prior to therapy.
• Assess patient and family education needs and deliver home programs.
• Document patient information in electronic medical record.
