Avalanche Software, a division of WB Games, part of Warner Bros. Discovery, is seeking an Advanced Narrative Designer in Salt Lake City.

You will shape stories players influence through choices, drawing on deep Wizarding World lore and collaboration with writers, designers and IP owners to deliver immersive narrative experiences. Join a team behind Hogwarts Legacy, guiding missions, branching narratives, and narrative features from concept through ship, while aligning with franchise direction

Qualifications

Previous experience in interactive storytelling, narrative design, and game writing.
RPG experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with writers and designers.

Responsibilities

Craft compelling missions and rich stories that build a satisfying player experience.
Collaborate with directors and IP owners to ensure authentic stories that engage fans.
Champion narrative goals and drive coherence across story and gameplay.
Visualize and manage branching narrative content and player choices.
Provide narrative support for design elements, character profiles, and player journey.
Translate direction into clear mission specs and documentation.
