Job summary

The instructor will stay current with nail industry trends, apply effective teaching strategies for licensed professionals, and participate in program development

Qualifications

• Current NC Manicurist License or Cosmetologist License in good standing.
• Current NC Cosmetology Teacher’s License or NC Manicurist Teacher’s License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of licensed nail technology experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach CE courses in classroom, lab, or online environments per NC Board guidelines.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize participant learning.
• Supervise and evaluate participants in classroom and lab settings when applicable.
• Develop and revise CE instructional materials and syllabi.
• Maintain attendance records and instructional hours per board requirements.
