Job summary

Mercy is seeking an MRI technologist with MRI Haitichi experience preferred. The role requires a graduate of an accredited imaging program with completion of clinical hours, and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification with BLS. One year of relevant experience is noted; licensure may be state-dependent.

The ideal candidate will operate imaging equipment, communicate effectively with patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging equipment and acquire high-quality diagnostic images.

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and using imaging software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Skilled in effectively communicating with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing emotional support.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively within a healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
