Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Saint Paul, MN, within the Vascular Devices division. You will be the primary contact for capital service and technical support, providing advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software, and integrated systems.

The role requires strong clinical and technical judgment, remote troubleshooting, and coordination with field operations. On-site visits and after-hours rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent; 2+ years in related field.
• Minimum 2 years interfacing with customers.
• Capital equipment- engineering experience preferred.
• Imaging/OCT experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and hospital/medical equipment exposure preferred.
• X-ray experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level I/II phone and on-site support for hardware, software, and disposables.
• Perform proactive service to maintain system performance and diagnose issues.
• Lead remote diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, software domains.
• Document actions and manage cases/work orders efficiently in software.
• Coordinate training, visits, and service contracts with customers.
