Job summary

Providence is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work under a licensed practitioner to support patient care at our Mission Viejo clinic. MA II will perform the full MA I role and is expected to be fully competent in clinical needs for the assigned site, operating per established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program with hands‑on clinical training.
• Graduate of a medical assistant apprenticeship program or equivalent.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS from American Heart Association; 6 months healthcare/MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform MA II duties per established policies and procedures.
• Maintain clinical readiness for the assigned clinic/location of work.
