Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support patient care at the Mission Viejo location. The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner and performs duties to assist in patient care in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited MA program or MA apprenticeship, with at least one year MA experience, and will hold CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
