Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered MA apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of healthcare experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in patient care under supervision.
• Perform MA I duties as delegated according to policies and procedures.
• Take vital signs, administer injections, and manage medications as directed.
