Job summary

Providence Health & Services seeks a Medical Assistant II to support patient care under a licensed practitioner, building on MA I responsibilities. The role requires clinical proficiency and adherence to clinic policies across the assigned location.

You will work within our patient-focused care model and supportive team environment. Required qualifications include formal MA training or military medical training and at least one year of MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medication

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training for medical assistants or
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the supervision of a licensed practitioner
• Perform MA II duties as directed and adhere to policies and regulations
