Job summary

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Trainer to coordinate, manage, and deliver Okuma-related training. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, maintenance, and programming instruction for Okuma products, with collaboration across RCCC and Okuma North America.

The trainer will support the NC Manufacturing Institute and MSSC initiatives, building training programs and delivering solutions that address complex business challenges within RCCC and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the assignment and four (4) years of progressive responsibility in area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Okuma-focused training for North America in electrical, mechanical, maintenance and programming.
• Coordinate training activities with Okuma North America and RCCC stakeholders.
• Support the NC Manufacturing Institute and the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council initiatives.
• Deliver courses such as measurement, safety, quality, processes and maintenance.
