Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (6+ years) in welding of aerospace components.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong knowledge of welding technologies such as TIG Welding, Electron beam welding, welding automation, etc.
  • Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
  • Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
  • Proficient in Data analytics tools such as Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Principal – Welding here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations by developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

You Must Have
  • Extensive experience (6+ years) in welding of aerospace components.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong knowledge of welding technologies such as TIG Welding, Electron beam welding, welding automation, etc.
  • Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.

We Value
  • Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience programming robotic welders.
  • Experience, using NX or other software.
  • Experience welding aluminum, titanium and Inconel aerospace parts.
  • Experience, creating work holding fixtures and optimizing setups for welding aerospace components.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $208,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
