INNIO in Waukesha, WI, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize and industrialize machining processes for engine components. You will support the ramp-up of a new generator production line, ensuring robust, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing aligned with INNIO standards.

The role requires collaboration with Engineering/Design for manufacturability, plus travel to Austria or other international sites for training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years in machining or production engineering with precision components.
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment assembly/machining.
• Strong CNC machining knowledge and tooling concepts.
• Ability to travel to Austria up to 10% and internationally for training.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize machining processes for conrod manufacturing.
• Define and maintain manufacturing BOMs, routings, and work instructions.
• Support production ramp-up, including line setup and process validation.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality, cycle time, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Analyze tooling, consumables, and machining parameters to improve process capability and reduce cost.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Design for manufacturability.
• Lead or support industrialization, including fixture design and equipment specification.
• Work cross-functionally with global teams to transfer and standardize processes.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
