PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on NC programming experience to optimize aerospace components.

You will develop and refine 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling programs using Siemens NX, improve tooling and workholding, and drive productive, quality-focused machining. You will analyze geometry, select tooling, and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve challenges while supporting continuous process improvements

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience programming 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis CNC mills.
• Experience using Siemens NX CAM software.
• Experience machining aluminum aerospace components.
• Knowledge of workholding fixtures and cutting tool selection.
• Understanding CNC machining processes, manufacturing specifications, and production requirements.

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in aerospace parts manufacturing to find an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with hands‑on experience in multi‑axis milling, NX programming, and precision aluminum machining.

In this role, you’ll help transform engineering requirements into efficient, high‑quality machining processes, optimizing programs, tooling, and workholding to keep aerospace production moving.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of CNC machining processes, manufacturing specifications, and production requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant manufacturing engineering or CNC programming experience.
• Experience optimizing machining cycles, tooling strategies, and machine utilization.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards and precision machining practices.
