Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. invites an Engineering Co-op to join our Advanced Manufacturing Group in Connecticut. You will work across mechatronics, electrical engineering, and software to learn practical engineering skills while contributing to real projects.

The program emphasizes hands-on design, testing, and process improvement in a startup-like environment within a large global PCB manufacturer. Enrolled engineers with 2 semesters completed are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
• Ability to solve problems and push for better parts and systems.
• Participate in Formula Teams or other Engineering Club.
• Research independently and think of new solutions.
• Enjoy working with diverse teams of technicians and engineers.
• Like startup environments and varied engineering challenges.
• Passion for designing and building things and improving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, design and build robotic workcells and advanced machine tools.
• Learn, practice, test, evaluate and recommend processes for electronics manufacturing and design for manufacturing.
• Test machines, troubleshoot, debug, and recommend improvements.
• Industry 4.0: Develop, test, and deploy software connecting the factory and end users.
• Work with software users to understand improvements for their experience.
• Participate in shop duties including testing, drafting, cleaning and installation.
