Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a skilled machinist to perform complex setups and machine a variety of components on multiple machine tools. You will work to extremely close tolerances and layout machining operations from prints with limited supervision.

The role requires advanced knowledge of various machines and the ability to read drawings, plan operations, and train others while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• 5-8 years’ experience with rotating turbo machinery.
• Advanced rigging capabilities.
• Advanced machining capabilities on manual lathes.
• Experience with turbines, compressors and other rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety and quality at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conducts professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Operate and set up machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment to meet tolerances.
• Measure and inspect parts with micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges and other tools; document results.
