This full-time position in Mercy’s outpatient Mammography team offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for those hired into 0.6 FTE or greater. The role emphasizes communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• 1 year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• ARRT (R)(M); Basic Life Support (BLS)

Join our Outpatient Mammography team at Mercy Hospital South. Mammography Technologists hired into a 0.6 FTE or greater position are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience

1 year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program

Licensure

State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration

ARRT (R)(M); Basic Life Support (BLS);

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge in producing diagnostic images with the ability to recognize technical abnormalities
• Knowledge of a variety of advanced procedures as applicable
• Knowledge of safe & proper machine operation.
• Knowledge of quality improvement programs.
• Knowledge of machine emergency procedures and radiation safety procedures.
• Knowledge of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
