Job summary

The Taylor Group, based in Louisville, MS, seeks a Maintenance Construction Technician reporting to the Construction Manager. You will maintain, repair, and service Taylor equipment across facilities, ensuring safe electrical systems, ordering parts, and supporting maintenance teams.

Travel to remote plants may be required. Qualifications include a heavy background in construction and metal fabrication, a high school diploma or GED, EPA certifications, and the ability to pass an HPE.

Qualifications

• Heavy background in construction and metal fabrication.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA certifications or licenses as needed.
• Good driving record for insurability.
• Must pass Human Performance Evaluation (HPE).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service equipment for Taylor Group facilities.
• Keep electrical fixtures and systems in safe operating condition.
• Advise maintenance staff on repairs and purchase considerations.
• Occasionally assume supervisory duties in the manager's absence.
• Order parts and manage inventory to minimize downtime.
• Travel to plants to service equipment when needed.
• Inspect completed work and ensure clean, safe areas.
