Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3+ years locksmith experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities settings.
• Ability to pass a high-level security clearance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic locking systems.

Responsibilities

• Repairs or replaces damaged components of doors; handles non-routine systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and programs computerized access control systems.
• Installs and repairs electric strikes and electronic security hardware.
• Upgrades and maintains routine and non-routine security systems.
• Designs and develops master key systems for clients.
• Estimates cost, time, and materials for locksmith projects.
