Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• Must possess and maintain unrestricted AEMT Licensure/Certification
• Must possess and maintain CPR for Health Care Provider
• Must possess and maintain ACLS
• Must possess and maintain PALS
• Must possess and maintain unrestricted state driver’s license
• Certification in IS-800; IS-700/200/300/400 preferred
• Must have CEVO or EVOC training
• Must have NIMS 700 certification

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs fast, efficient Advanced Life Support at emergencies
• Transports ill and injured to medical facilities
• Operates emergency vehicles safely
• Maintains and cleans equipment and records
• Files standardized patient care reports for hospitals and billing
• Directs first responders on scene and communicates with hospital staff
