Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years EMS experience in any capacity.
• Must possess basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
• Licenses and Certifications Required: National Registry Paramedic, MI Paramedic or higher, and AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS.
• Licenses and Certifications Preferred: AHA ACLS/PALS/BLS Instructor Certifications.

Responsibilities

• The ALS Instructor conducts training and education at advanced and basic life support levels.
• Provides logistical support for on-site and off-site courses and assists EMS training center leadership with clerical and operational tasks.
