Role Overview:As a Field Service Representative for T700 Engine Support, you will provide technical assistance, training, and guidance to customers in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engines and ground support equipment. This role requires frequent travel and the ability to relocate domestically or internationally to meet business needs. Your work will directly contribute to GE Aerospace's commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide on-site technical assistance and training in the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engines and ground support equipment.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely reports on engine activities and issues.
- Assist customers in scheduling maintenance and workload to ensure asset availability.
- Review, analyze, and report on engine malfunctions to reduce disruptions for customers.
- Analyze maintenance requirements and align them with customer needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance actions and identify training needs.
- Maintain awareness of program and project changes to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Utilize data and analytics to influence positive outcomes for customers.
- Communicate with all levels of customer personnel to ensure effective product support.
- Support process improvements within the Military Field Service team.
- Act as a liaison between internal organizations and customers.
- Lead discussions across internal and external divisions regarding future needs, developments, and consequences related to engines, modules, and parts.
- Present solutions for technical and logistical issues to top leadership based on expertise, diagnostics data, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in aviation field service, engineering, or maintenance).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation field service, engineering, or maintenance.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
- Ability and willingness to relocate to domestic or international locations to support business needs.
- Ability to possess or obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and quality improvement ability.
- Technical expertise in engine repair, troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing.
- Understanding of the financial/commercial impact of technical solutions.
- Ability to make formal presentations to all levels of the organization, customers, and peers.
- Experience working with all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management.
- Demonstrated use of project management skills and metrics to achieve program goals.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and influence customers and peers.
- Experience working across global teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in local language preferred.
- Significant experience with customers and military operations.
Additional Information:The base pay range for this position is $ 107,900.00 - 143,600.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on May 17th, 2025.
