The role you’ll contribute :

The Advanced Imaging Technologist performing CT/X-ray participates in technical duties involving the CT scanner and diagnostic imaging, including developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures for effective utilization. The technologist actively participates in outstanding customer service, maintaining respectful relationships and implementing AdventHealth principles. All duties are performed according to established policies and procedures.

The value you’ll bring to the team :

• Maintains equipment through daily quality assurance
• Sets up and adjusts equipment per protocol, radiologist, and procedure requirements
• Accepts patients, assesses their condition, and explains the exam process
• Assists in administering contrast substances to render specific organs or systems opaque
• Reviews patient charts and requests with radiologists to ensure proper examination and diagnostic results
• Quality controls all images, maintains inventory, and adheres to safety regulations

Qualifications :

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience
• BCLS - Basic Life Support CPR Certification
• Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCT, ARRT)
• Certified Radiographer (CR)
