Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an Imaging Equipment Specialist to repair, calibrate, and maintain advanced medical imaging equipment and related systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Under supervision, you will mentor staff, coordinate OEM and third-party repairs, and maintain accurate equipment inventories while staying current with Joint Commission standards and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent military training.
• 4 years of experience in repair and maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
• Valid Texas driver's license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, calibrates, and inspects complex imaging equipment and systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing; monitors outside vendors.
• Maintains accurate inventory and service records; uses CMMS for regulatory compliance.
