Qualifications

• Experience in histology, autopsy, and cytology processes.
• Proficient in immunohistochemical staining and antibody validation.
• Ability to develop and follow validated lab procedures.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and accreditation standards (CAP/JCAHO/OSHA).
• Experience with digital pathology workflows and image review.

Responsibilities

• Perform histology tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning.
• Prepare cytology specimens and ThinPrep preparations.
• Scan slides and manage digital image workflows.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot instruments.
• Verify antibody validation and reagent lot verification.
• Ensure proper specimen labeling and preserve chain of custody.
• Assist autopsy procedures and manage autopsy area.
