Job summary
Sentara Careplex and Sentara Norfolk General Hospitals seek a BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in coastal Virginia. Work 1–2 days weekly at Sentara Careplex Hospital 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and 3–4 days weekly at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 1:6 call rotation from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM.

Qualifications
- Expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, with a focus on delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Proficient in managing patient volumes and participating in call rotations while utilizing Epic EHR for integrated patient management.
Responsibilities
- Provide balanced inpatient and outpatient cardiology care across two Sentara campuses.
- Manage an average clinic volume of about 20 patients per day.
- Participate in a 1:6 call rotation from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM.
- Deliver advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology care to patients across coastal Virginia.
- Utilize Epic EHR for integrated patient management.
