Sentara Careplex and Sentara Norfolk General Hospitals seek an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join a collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving coastal Virginia. The role combines inpatient and outpatient care with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule.

The program is an accredited IAC program with top-tier heart care, including a 96% one-year heart transplant survival rate and 30 transplants annually, under STS 3-Star ratings.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care with strong team support.
• Manage heart failure and transplant patients as part of a collaborative program with a sustainable call schedule.
• Deliver care across Sentara Careplex and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital campuses.
