Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to manage patients in the Advanced Heart Failure & MCS programs, including MCS devices, heart transplant and complex heart failure cases. You will work with cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and ICU teams to provide comprehensive care across inpatient units.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing, case management, social workers and research staff in a nationally recognized program offering both outpatient and inpatient

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years as a Nurse Practitioner in MCS, or Advanced Heart Failure.
Minimum of one 2 years managing mechanical circulatory support patients.
3 years critical care nursing experience managing all MCS devices (Impella, ECMO, LVAD).
