Job description

One of the nation's largest non-academic heart and lung transplant programs is seeking an experienced board-certified advanced heart failure transplant cardiologist to lead an advanced heart failure and transplant program.


Position Highlights:

  1. Oversee a nationally renowned Heart Failure program consisting of 80 providers including advanced cardiac care, cardiologists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, pulmonologists, and experienced advanced practice providers.
  2. As the leader of Cardiopulmonary Services, the incoming director will provide the vision, leadership, organization, and direction for the Cardiopulmonary team, as well as work directly with the president of the hospital and C-suite to strategize and spearhead growth initiatives.
  3. Lead the department in its most exciting chapter yet at a new state-of-the-art heart hospital opened in June of 2024.
  4. Opportunity to teach and supervise general cardiology fellows training at affiliated academic medical centers, as well as robust opportunities for research.
  5. Highly compensated position - financial package includes base salary, administration stipend, quality bonus, and RVU production.
