Overview

Outstanding opportunity for a Cardiologist with specialized training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Join the OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute, a team of 30 Cardiologists, and participate in the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency programs. The role offers minimal shared call responsibilities within a large collegial group, supported by Cardiology Fellows.

About the Facility

Our team is based at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, a high-volume, quaternary referral hospital with 642 beds, featuring:

  • Comprehensive Advanced Heart Failure program with a fully staffed inpatient service and high-volume outpatient clinics
  • CMS Certified Heart Transplant Program with growth potential
  • CMS Certified LVAD Program with HeartMate 3 implantations
  • ACGME Certified Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship with nine General Cardiology fellows and structured rotations for residents and medical students
  • Regional Cardiogenic Shock referral center with surgical and interventional Mechanical Circulatory Support services
  • ELSO Certified Gold Level ECMO Program (VA and VV)
  • Robust Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease programs
  • High-volume Electrophysiology program with expertise in VT ablation
Compensation

Full-time clinical salary range: $470,000–$550,000. This estimate may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Additional incentives such as bonuses may apply.
