Position Overview

Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute (OHHVI) is seeking an experienced Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Basic Heart Failure to join our esteemed cardiology team in Central Florida. OHHVI, a US News Top 50 Heart & Vascular Institute, is committed to providing integrated, multidisciplinary, patient-centered care. Our practice comprises over 70 physicians and 70 Advanced Practice Providers offering services across various specialties including Interventional, Structural, Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. We also offer fellowship training in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced cardiac imaging.

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient cardiology cases.
  • Build a patient panel, including general cardiology patients in outpatient clinics.
  • Participate in shared general and Heart Failure call schedules (1:6 days).
  • Open to both new fellows and experienced advanced heart failure physicians.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiovascular/heart failure fellowship.
  • Cardio Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Advanced Heart Failure.
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) and DEA certification.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
