Job summary

AMN Healthcare locum opportunity seeks an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist for inpatient coverage in Newark, NJ. On-call 1 in 5 with high inpatient census; Epic EMR used for charting. Competitive pay and dedicated travel support provided.

The physician will manage advanced heart failure, heart transplant and LVAD patients in a CCU/telemetry setting, ensuring high-quality patient care during temporary coverage. Board-certified expertise required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in advanced heart failure and transplantation.
• Experience in inpatient cardiology and transplant care.
• Ability to work on-call 1 in 5 with high inpatient census.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology care in an inpatient setting.
• Cover heart failure, heart transplant, LVAD and related cases in CCU/telemetry.
• Be on-call on a 1-in-5 rotation; coordinate with hospital teams.
