Responsibilities

• Diagnose failed components and determine repair steps prior to ordering parts or tearing down equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in grounds and airport maintenance equipment including diesel, electric, and gasoline-powered machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper cleaning and safe operation.
• Verify warranty status and obtain supervisor authorization for major repairs.
• Test repaired equipment and document results and costs in maintenance records.
