Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ, seeks a BE/BC Advanced Gastroenterologist to join a supportive team and provide a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care. The opportunity includes a GI group of 15 physicians and 3 NPs, with on-site labs and X-ray, and a Monday–Friday clinic schedule.

The role requires an MD/DO, gastroenterology fellowship, ABIM board certification/eligibility, NJ license, DEA, and CDS, with CME credits maintained for board certification

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
• Gastroenterology fellowship training completed.
• ABIM board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology.
• New Jersey state medical license, DEA, and CDS required at start.
• Maintains CME credits as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Join a GI group with 15 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care.
• Clinic schedule Monday–Friday; no weekend clinic requirements.
• Approximately 20 patients per day.
• Clinic calls handled via telephone; EMR: Epic.
