Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington in North America seeks a senior finance professional to support and lead financial accounting across multiple entities. You will perform data analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close within the NSG Global Reporting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires extensive ERP experience, familiarity with SAP/Blackline, and strong communication to partner with cross-functional teams and audits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of Finance ERP experience including data analysis and intercompany reconciliations.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

To work with the North American Regional Finance and Business teams supporting and leading in multiple areas of financial accounting including performing Financial Data Analysis and Reporting for complex financial areas, completing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting Month-end closing of multiple Entities in the NSG Global Reporting system, creating Statutory Financial statements as required, ensuring adherence of Financial Controls throughout North America, and supporting various Internal and External Audits.

• Perform complex account reconciliations, cross-business unit account and expense allocations, and other accounting duties as assigned to support the closing process for all business units in NA.
• Create and interpret Statutory Financial Statements for NA various entities, supporting Business and Financial Leadership as required.
• Collaborate with multiple Finance and Business personnel as needed to reconcile and clear Intercompany transactions across multiple SAP/ERP systems and Business Units.
• Support various NA Finance teams to support Internal and External
• Support Business Units in their financial reporting and analysis for the NA Finance Region and Global Projects.
• Understand, communicate and support the compliance to NSG Financial Controls for all entities within North America including expanding usage of the Blackline tool – for Account Reconciliations as well as Task implementation.
• Perform, automate, and support Blackline Administration tasks as required on all NSG Blackline Instances to support all North American entities.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• BS/BA in Finance/Accounting, related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of Finance ERP Experience including Data Analysis and intercompany account reconciliation.
• Strong computer and analytical skills – including all modules of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications Desired:

• SAP Expertise in Finance and Controlling Modules.
• Experience in Blackline – usage and/or administration.
• Minimum of two years of previous professional experience in Financial Audits and/or Financial Controls areas.
• CPA and/or other advanced financial certifications.
• Experience in producing Financial Statutory Statements for businesses.
