Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer to support on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems from its Charlotte, NC base with a fully remote work model.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive experience, including hands-on work with Honeywell and ABB scanners, plus skills in electrical schematics, VMware and networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Five years troubleshooting Honeywell Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
• Three years troubleshooting ABB Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
• Producing and reading electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs.
• VMware virtualization and Cisco Networking.
• System software installation and configuration; and Application software configuration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical presentations to customers, other industry peers and competitors.
• Promote revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development.
• Promote cross-functional groups within the organization to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
• Act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.

Purpose and Objective:

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer at our Charlotte, NC location to support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems.

Expectations and Tasks:

Provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. • Producing and reading electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs;
• VMWare Virtualization and Cisco Networking;
• System software installation and configuration; and
• Application software configuration.

BASE SALARY:

$121,139 per year
