Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician III for our Utica, NY site. Typical hours are M-F, 6am–2:30pm, with possible AWS shifts in the future. Overtime and on-call hours may be required to support our customer.

Pay ranges from $25–$33 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities include monitoring building automation systems, evaluating service requests, coordinating with subcontractors, and performing preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3 years of relevant experience.
• Pre-employment substance abuse test required.
• Valid Driver’s License may be required.
• No sponsorship for United States work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs tasks with substantial variety and complexity.
• Plans and achieves goals using experience and judgment.
• Monitors building automation systems to sustain cleanroom environment and integrity.
• Reviews service requests to determine problems and recommend solutions.
• Serves as a resource to others for resolving complex issues.
• Coordinates work with outside contractors.
• Ensures compliance with code and building standards.
• Performs repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains facility systems.

Education

Associates degree in industrial technology

Certificate from an industrial electrical course
