Job summary

Qualifications

Expertise in advanced Excel and ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Troubleshoot basic hardware and software and assist students with problems.
Excellent written and oral communication to explain concepts to diverse learners.
Ability to engage adult learners and tailor instruction to individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
Ensure a positive learning environment and collaborate with lab aides.
Follow approved curriculum and update as needed to meet industry standards.
Stay current with technology and integrate updates into the curriculum.
Attend training, meetings, and professional development.
Communicate with program manager and coordinators to align goals.
Maintain organized lab spaces and ensure equipment is ready.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging lessons on advanced Excel topics, including data analysis and pivot tables.
Teach foundational computer skills and other MS Office applications.
Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that reinforce learning objectives.
Provide individualized support to students and review previous lessons.
Assess student progress through assignments and provide feedback.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
Ensure a positive learning environment by managing classroom dynamics.
Collaborate with lab aides to provide technical support during class sessions.
Report issues to the program coordinator and manager.
Follow and adapt the curriculum to emerging industry standards.
Stay current with technology and integrate updates into the curriculum.
Attend required training and professional development.
Maintain open communication with managers and coordinators.
Ensure the computer lab is organized and resources are ready.
Assist in maintaining an up-to-date lab space.
