Job summary

A leading consulting firm seeks an experienced Advanced Level ESL Instructor to teach international military students at the U.S. Naval War College. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in ESL pedagogy and at least two years of related teaching experience. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, maintaining student records, and providing feedback on student work. This position is full-time based in Newport, Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required, preferably in ESL/EFL pedagogy.
• 2 years teaching experience with International Teaching Assistants (ITAs).
• Experience critiquing writing skills essential.
• Experience in classroom management and course material preparation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction and prepare coursework materials.
• Maintain student attendance records and report weekly.
• Provide feedback on student speeches and papers.
• Conduct post instruction questionnaires and report progress.
