Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Engineering Technician V at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. This full-time role supports RTES under Army Division contracts, focusing on electronics/instrumentation testing and hardware assembly for missiles and test equipment.

Qualifications

9 years of applicable experience in electronics/instrumentation or 4 years plus 5 years of training.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance (US citizenship).
Pass pre-employment drug screening and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Construct and test cables and wiring harnesses from drawings.
Test cables, wiring harnesses, PCBs, receivers and transmitters using drawings and test equipment.
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot TM/FTS kits with general and special tools and test equipment.
Integrate TM/FTS kits into missiles prior to test missions.
Integrate network-enabled test equipment.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to test setup and board manufacturing defects.
